Has anyone heard from Wicked Weasel lately? I placed a support ticket 3 weeks ago and haven't heard a thing. I hope he didn't get hit by a truck or something similarly disastrous.

He picks and chooses what he replies to. I have multiple support tickets with him, and he does not reply to all of them, even when i nudge the particular unattended support tickets. He doesn't always reply to emails either, and needs to be emailed multiple times.

Around 2 weeks ago, he told me his Mum got sick and he had to take a break.

However, his communication even before that have been consistently haphazard and slow.

im waiting for a job to complete. I submitted the job in november 2015.

A bit annoying, I suggest wafo mods close his BST thread until current orders are handled. that way it might push him to deal with pending orders.

Same here, made a order in November - have sent over a dozen messages email/tickets/different email accounts and no response. Almost a $500 order.

I would suggest that we as a community put our foot down and only pay after publication or have some sort of escrow service in effect which will hold the funds until both parties are satisfied with the work.

This is beyond ridiculous. It's not just WW, I have had these same issues with countless other freelancers who promise a certain delivery date and go passed it 2x-3x the time period.

It's a pisstake, at least with elance or odesk you can just put your foot down and say enoughs enough. I'm closing the job down because you have done next to nothing to date. The moderators will side with the client, the freelancer has missed the deadline. Period.

I've submitted article writing work to anyother company which I sourced outside of wickedfire and I have the same problem. The guy says yes I will deliver in 2 weeks. Then 4 weeks pass and no results, so you chase and they say. So sorry, was dealing with x,y,z I will get the work out in 3 days. Then 10 days pass and still no result.

You're worried about chasing them too much because you've already paid them and if yiou put the pressure on they might dissapear and not reply to any further emails.

i thought he was a prominent member of this site, doesn't anyone have his personal cell # to call up and find out whats up.

He said he had some family issues. If you have any outstanding orders, you should probably request a Paypal refund while you can.

i've filed a paypal dispute claim and he hasn't even responded to the resolution. I did not escalate this to paypal's mediation immediately I allowed for as much time as for us to resolve amicably and left it to the absolute last day before escalating it to paypals attention.

I know in the past paypal do not want to deal with services at all and only chime in when there are goods involved. So it's a little bit risky.
