This idea is fucking old. I did it like 2 years ago and moved on to bigger and better things.

Hey Havok, I have an idea for you. Make a website, put up some adsense, and drive traffic to it using cheap PPC. You see, you will make more money because people will come and click your ads. Guaranteed money maker!

But seriously, do networks really care if you use shady/spammy tactics to drive conversions? It makes them money, it makes the advertiser money, everyone is happy.

As long as you don't defraud the network by sending fake leads, I think you're OK.

These are fake leads; because the user never meant to sign up to the site to actually USE it, the network can consider them fake. Most of the people who sign up will never go back (I said most, not all), so therefore they are paying you for blank leads.

Wrong. Networks care because shitty traffic doesn't convert, the advertiser will not pay for it and the network won't continue to allow affiliates to send them.

Wasn't that PM from well over a year ago though? A lot changes in a year. I think I wrote that to you because you were the first to post it here, regardless of it being a very old tactic.

Many "creative/out of the box" types of ideas tend to be old, you know, from the real glory days of the 1990's when security and rules weren't strict as hell or enforced like they are now.

PS - the owners of AFF are active members here, and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be too keen on seeing a thread like this being advertised as a "way to make money" off of their network. Then again, they do have more money than all of us put together, so maybe it doesn't really matter afterall.
