I do too but with the overwhelming press coverage of the dismal results from the first few primaries we may see his support diminish a little bit from people getting discouraged.

God, I hope I'm wrong.

This was more of a friendly reminder to Paul supporters on this forum, not really a debate.

But the 2 people who've blasted on RP's electability clearly have no real insight to the election or how elections work, or you wouldn't be counting someone out this early who has clear and widespread support across the entire country.

Wow...That was a little over the top. Was this video trying to compare MLK to Ron Paul? If so I really can't buy into that.

Even though I find Ron Paul interesting I compare him to "Pedro". You can promise anything while running for President but once in, will you be able to deliver on those promises?

Clear and widespread support across the country on the internet is a more accurate description. But like you said, i clearly have no insight into how elections work. Guess I need to retake my classes from harvard school of government.
 
I feel like he is a complete underdog, and hardly stands a chance... BUT... That isn't because he is off or has no support... It's because a majority of Americans are total fucking idiots, and because ALL major media is completely fucking biased...

They tell everyone that he has ZERO chance, and so people go "Well fuck, he won't win anyways, so I might as well vote for (insert the next person that needs to be shot between the eyes here) instead."

If Ron Paul ain't elected the next President of the United States then this country will fly fast into the shitter.

I really think he has a very legitimate chance.
 
now the financial pundits are starting to quote him.

by the summer when we go to the convention, no media makeover will be able to make any of these other candidates look even remotely conservative.

and I'm here to tell you, the only thing we'll be looking for come november is a 'true conservative'.

Lets say RP is elected president. He would be the biggest lame duck pres this country has ever known. Alot of his ideas would never recieve the support from congress and especially the senate to pass. Who would side with him?

If he could pull off eliminating the FBI and other terrorism countermeasures...the next terror act commited on the US would be placed soley on him for dismantling the safeguards we currently have in place to fight it. He would be tar and feathered and ran out of Washington in disgrace.
