Have to write..
I come on this site once in awhile and i came across this and had to join just to write here. When I found out about Mikey's death I didn't think there were that many as sad as me. I knew there were a few, his family and close friends, but just now I'm beginning to see how many lives he touched. As time goes on and people share I'm hearing all sorts of wondrous tales about a man who was passionate, strong, vibrant. While I haven't smiled much since I heard of his passing it makes me smile to see how loved he was. A close friend of mine who never met him said she feels touched by his death because of how often and how highly I spoke of him. She says he has a "superhero" status in her eyes because of the way I speak about him. And that was Mikey- he was larger than life, and it's been so hard to accept that he's not in this world anymore. A man so full of life, so eager to ingest, such a fire in those brilliant eyes. So loved for his talent, his eloquence, his energy, his clarity, his willingness and desire to share. I Love You Mikey, and I'll try to live in a way that would have you saying "I'm so proud of you".
