So i started a campaign of on Yahoo last week and i found a really great converting keyword with my tracking software. So naturally i duplicated the keyword on Adwords and Adcenter.

It's not a crazy high traffic keyword on Yahoo. But today i have about 30 clicks for this keyword as of 10pm today.

But since i added it to adwords 3 days ago i have 0 IMPRESSIONS on it. BUT when i roll over the magnifying glass for info it says that YES my keyword is displaying on 1st page and i have OK quality score and my bid is high enough...

I would think that since google has much higher search volume than Yahoo i would FOR SURE have at least some impressions. But i have nothing.

This every happen to anyone before? Any ideas what the issue could be?

Are you actually "googling" that keyword to see if it shows up?

and i know you've heard this before ...and you'll here it again, it depends
on the niche... and is it a trademarked keyword?

Yes it's possible. You should probably check though if yahoo is triggering a different keyword variation if you're using advanced match. If you're tracking you should know, if not just check your logs. Also check https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordTool to see if it shows any traffic data.

According to my tracking software it is the actual keyword getting clicks, not a variation. And i'm on standard match too...

Just googled it and my ad is showing. so not a problem with that....

also, according to adwords it looks like i have 4 impressions over past 5 days. But on yahoo i have a few hundred.

very strange

I've noticed from my logs that even though i do exact matches in yahoo search for longer tail words or the exact match equivalent, they send my ads out to other search engines for very generic keywords this could explain what you're seeing, if so try to use the OVKEY thing which shows what keyword your traffic comes in from on your yahoo visitors and record the keyword

I guess he already uses OVKEY in the tracking software he mentioned. Says right on the first sentece
