I got three sales this week from ebay and made .58 cents, wtf! Is that even possible. According to CJ stats I had 1 sale for .24 cents and 2 other sales for about for 1.16. What the fuck are these people buying bubble gum!

Quit crying and promote more expensive products. What'd you think you were gonna get 20 bucks on a 50 dollar sale? Sign ups is where the money is at.

Btw, you can check what they bought by downloading the excel report. 2nd number in order report column if I remember correctly.

It should be pretty obvious you will not get percentage of a whole sale price as ebay doesn't own the product. You only getting comission of fees that ebay get of that item so 1.16 is not bubble gum its ebay fee and you only gonna get percentage of that. If you refer new ebay member comission is nicer but its not happening often. Looks like everyone who wanted join ebay already joined who don't will not join no matter what.

Most of the eBay sales are little piddly amounts, but I've not done badly with them. Things that I've found most useful:

1.) Try to get people who are looking for products, not for auctions -- that is, people who may not have eBay accounts already. At $25 each for new signups, a new signup is worth far more than the $0.50 commission on whatever $10 tchotchke they bought.

2.) You might get lucky. I got one $1397.82 commission from eBay once. My only guess is that someone followed one of my affiliate links, signed up for a new account, and proceeded to buy a goddamn house.

I'm an ebay affiliate and the tiny commissions are normal. I get loads of those and as with everything else you have to be very persistent. If you can build up your volume high enough you will start making more $ and get registrations. The $25 signups are always nice.

Does anyone know if in order to get sign up bonus, new ebay.com user has to be from US? Or can he be from zimbabwe or anywhere as long as he registers and decides to bid?

Ebay for me brings in about $2 a week per site. It's nothing more than something to help pay for the site itself while it's used for back links and other offers.

If you want to make more money on ebay, make more sites.

Code, buy or steal an RSS script that will update your site with ebay products in your niche. The get/make a mass site builder. Build about 2k sites per month and you should be all set. Pick an other niche, and repeat.

i'm actually looking to create a store for a product but i dunno if it's better an amazon store or an ebay store
