Wicked Fire NCAA Basketball Brackets Anyone?

I thought it would be fun for WF members to fill out some NCAA tourney brackets and compete against each other. A lot of us work for ourselves so we don't have the typical "office pool" to join. It'll make watching the tourney more fun. Initial thought is to put nothing but bragging rights on the line b/c anything else will make it too difficult to collect from people all over the US.

If we get 5+ people we can go with it; if no one's interested, I'll just cancel the league.

PS: We're doing this through Yahoo and they don't allow us to change our yahoo ID so if you join, post your yahoo name here so we can match you up to your WF name when we talk shit. Oh yeah, we only have 1 day to fill it out b/c tournament starts tomorrow.
 


I picked but haven't been following much this year, doesnt look like we will get 5+ though. my group name is my screen name here.
 
I named my bracket phil9922. Come on guys, only 3 people in so far? I know there's gotta be more people on here watching the tournament, lets make it interesting!
 
Hey maximus, I'm filling out my bracket now...just out of curiousity, do you see many upsets happening? Usually I can sense a few upsets but this year I have a feeling its gonna be top seeds prevailing for the most part.

Same here. Unfortunately the only upsets I can see are the Pac 10 teams losing as they usually do in the tourney, even though that's the conference I'm cheering for the most.

We'll see I guess. After looking over the bracket again I was able to pick a couple games I think may be upsets.

Everyone who hasn't joined, I believe you have til 12:20PM EST to fill out a bracket. There's gotta be more than us 3 NCAA fans on this site.
 
I'm in. Yeah, you figure more people would want to get in. Why don't we have some prizes, winner gets free premium membership on WF. :D
 
This tournament, so far, has been utterly boring.

Here's to hoping GMU or Winthrop make it interesting.

What's the current fave to go all the way? UNC? Kansas? UCLA? Long shots like PITT, USC or Duke?
 
I have missed all of the upsets of course. Georgia came close to winning and that was my huge upset. The Duke game was awesome to watch and I can't believe Belmont messed up the inbound play. I was rooting for them. Hopefully some upsets will happen today!
