Internet / TV Service Provider?

Who do you guys use for internet and TV?

I'm going with Time Warner cable for the internet, but debating whether to go Time Warner as well for cable TV or go Dish Network for satellite. Just moving in to a new house next week so getting everything set up.

I use TV Shows: Grey's Anatomy, Prison break, Lost, 24, Desperate Housewives, Family guy, Heroes, House, Smallville to watch all my shows because for like $50 bucks I can watch 350 episodes of various tv shows, which for me is sweet because I only watch like 1 or 2 episodes a night at the most and regular cable around here is upwards of $60/month and that $50 lasts me 2 sometimes 3 months.

Can't complain and the quality and streaming speeds are excellent.

What sort of speeds do you guys get in the US/Canada? I'm on 24Mb here (supposedly, max I really get is about 8).

Freeview, BBC iPlayer & 4OD for TV... You must have something like them over there, haven't ya?

Time Warner Cable sucks so much ass. My digital cable box constantly turns itself on and off for no reason, yet the techs say nothing is wrong with it. Go figure. It loves to reboot itself when I'm in the middle of a show. Not just once in a while either. It's a common occurence.

The On-Demand channels only work about half the time (one time I bought a movie, and the thing crashed out on me in the middle of the movie and I couldn't get it back).

I get "Please wait..." messages that last up to 30 seconds when I'm just trying to flip channels. Loading screens on TV? Come on.

The only reason I use TWC is because they're the only cable provider in the area. If you are able to go with someone else, I highly recommend you do.

Because TWC gave me a huge discount on cable plus free premium channels for one year (since I already have other services with them), haha. So it saves money for now. But when this year is up, yeah I'll be looking into other options.
