Free Keyword Stripping & Multiply Tools (Geo / Adult Terms)

Here's a couple tools for all you jokers. I made them and use them regularly, so let me know what you think!

The first one is a keyword stripping tool. It allows you to dump in a big list of raw keywords and strips out all the Geo / Offensive / Adult terms using the database I created. Then it de-dupe's all the remaining keywords and produces a final list. You can then see exactly what was stripped out of each the keyword / phrase.

So for example, if you were querying the AOL Data for "mortgage" terms, and built up a massive kw list, you could use this to pare down the results before multiplying them out w/ relevant geo terms.

It won't catch everything - but it does a pretty damn good job.

I put some example "raw keyword" data for you to use to test it out with down below. It's limited to 500 keywords at a time, but I may look at raising that limit depending on how bad it slams my server. Please don't automate it!

The second tool dovetails nicely with this one. After you've reduced your set of keywords, you'll want to multiply them out using Geo Terms (or other stuff). That's what the Keyword Multiply tool allows you to do.

Basically, you enter a zip code and a radius, and it will help you generate massive lists of keywords multiplied by geo terms (City, State Zip Code variations within your radius). This allows for very targeted advertising / keyword terms for SEM and other purposes. You can also add prefixes and suffixes for the keywords - like brackets ([keyword]) or whatever.

There's no limit to the number of keywords you can dump into this - but please be kind to it! It the first exposure to the wilds of WF!

I'd love feedback on suggested improvements. Also, I've found I kinda like building tools like this, so if you guys have any ideas about new tools along these lines, let me know, and I'll take a crack at it.

Also, how should I monetize this? Any ideas? Should I charge a small fee ($10) to open up the keyword stripping tool to a higher limit of 10,000 or so keywords (instead of current limit of 500)? Is it worth it for people? Useful?

Great idea - I tried to make the HTML formatted so people could easily cut and paste, but having a simple .csv download is definitely something I will add.

DogFighter - glad you brought it up. That wasn't really my intent with this tool, but i can definitely see people thinking that. It's always a risk you run when using other people's tools for PPC / keyword generating.

The kw multiply tool seems most useful for generating ppc campaigns for small businesses in a specific geographic area, (Chinese Restaurant in Miami), and those tend to be pretty simplistic campaigns. The keyword stripper is probably more useful for general campaigns, so there is more "theoretical" risk for people using it. Damn strippers can't be trusted... :love-smiley-085:

Do you have any ideas about how I could monetize it without people thinking I'm trying to steal their stuff? I'm not, but it's hard to trust people in this game. Perhaps the site could serve as a demo of the code / database, and I could sell people the code/db so they could run it with no limitations on their own desktops. And thus no fear of losing their kw data.
