WTF!!!! ...is wrong with Windows?

Besides the obvious answer of "everything," WTF is wrong with Windows? My 6 year old Powerbook G4 finally died, so now I have to use a PC for a couple days.

Whenever I try to do shit, fucking Windows either tells me:
  • that page is unencrypted, and some asshole can probably steal your password
or...
  • Sorry, but I will have to Restart, and then spend about 10 minutes updating dubious programs.
Seriously guys, doesn't it bug you to have to make extra clicks all-the-time to tell Windows "Yes, just fucking go, bitch!?"

Does anybody have a link to an article or something that can explain how I can make Windows [XP] not suck so much ass? ...or give me a link to a decent Windows setup?

Goddammit! ....and all the extra clicks! I meant to click the "Fuck" icon... but the bitch has a mind of it's own. No wonder the world is so fucked up.
 
The first one is because you're using IE. Go download Firefox (EDIT: or even Safari if you're that desperate).

The second one is probably because you haven't updated in awhile. Let it update and you won't have to worry about it.
 
Im using Firefox on an otherwise stock machine. I cant wait to get a new computer. I'm going for the MacbookPro

Safari for windows is actually a pretty solid browser.

You also missed Opera, which is pretty solid also.

your just used to using a way too simplified operating system... the mac is so user friendly you forget how to use a computer when it comes to sink or swim...
 
Using Windows XP sp2 with no problems. There are things that need to be configured a certain way to keep XP off your back, but once you do it can be a very stable, productive environment.
 
They say when you play that Microsoft CD backward you can hear satanic messages ... but that's nothing. If you play it forward it will install Windows.
