I'm trying to figure out how to take a feed that will auto update pages, create pages, and all automagically.
I've read there are ways to do this, but haven't found out how yet.
Some resources I've come across so far;
http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/12826-affiliate-marketing-datafeeds-journey.html?highlight=datafeed+update
http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/28998-data-feed.html
http://www.wickedfire.com/design-development-programming/6908-format-table-php.html
http://www.cumbrowski.com/CarstenC/affiliatemarketing_datafeeds.asp
Kind of gotten lost along the way.
Lots of How to questions. Like geting the data feed to auto download (into db?), generate (or overwrite, if needed) pages, set on regular schedule, and probably a bunch of other stuff I haven't even considered or realized.
Hopefully someone has suggestions. I think this would take a lot of WF members to the next level of site building.
Read about chron jobs, mod rewrites, and a few other things kind of new, as in I've heard of it but never actually used them.
fwiw, I'm trying to do this with SAS, and maybe CJ/LS.
Any tips, links or advice appreciated.
