Affiliate Marketing 101

Hey gang,

This is my first post on the WickedFire Forums. I must say, this is a pretty unique forum.

That being said, I've been searching for some time for a legitimate, successful Affiliate Marketing program. A few months back, I joined a program called RIOY, and have been met with a fair amount of success and potential.

I'm wondering what other members look for in a successful affiliate program? What programs are you folks working with? What level of success have you been met with thus far (above or below your expectations)?

I'm looking forward to participating in these forums.

How does anything about my post make this a spam? Naturally, I'm here to learn about others' MLM / Affiliate Marketing experiences, as well as share my own. Wouldn't it make sense that my first post might introduce what program I'm involved in, and ask about others?

I read the forum rules, which state there is no problem with putting your affiliate link in your signature. And from looking around, I'm not the only one.

Jesus Christ, for a forum that touts "Anything Goes"... I can't believe a post like this would raise an eyebrow.

If a Mod has a problem with this post, please move it to the correct forum, or PM me and explain to me what is wrong with it (because based on the rules that I read, there is nothing wrong with it).

You committed a Wicked Fire deadly sin by posting your intro post in the venerable Shooting The Shit forum. For that, they cannot forgive. Other forums may just move your post, but here they will probably kill you.

You posted your ebook or whatever you're pushing in your sig, which makes it look like you came here to shill your products. New members trying to sell things from post one get hogtied and turned over the rotisserie like a wild boar at a luau.

People may offer to rape you or slit your throat. This is lighter punishment than a ban.

Whatever happens - just go with the flow.
