I am needing an auto responder to implement on my landing page. When they fill out the form, it needs to send them an email. I would like for it to wait 7 minutes, so if you can specify a delay that would be a bonus. I also need it to redirect to my offer after they fill out the form. So After they click the submit button, it will redirect them to any page I specify, and wait 7 minutes to send them an email. It doesn't have to have a time delay, that would just be a plus.

Thanks In Advance!

the only free thing i know of is gmail...anyway, why be a cheapskate...aweber is freakin cheap as hell bro

Not to sound pussy whipped lol, but my wife has been upset with some of the money I have spent online recently. I bought Tube Automator and a few other things. And we have christmas coming up, and our daughters birthday in january. A happy marriage is about respecting each other. I may buy it later on after everything settles down after our daughters birthday. I was hoping, and I'm sure there is, a php/cgi/perl script I could grab for free to upload to my server.

Does Aweber automatically stick the address you signed up with at the bottom of every email or is there a way for you to edit it?

Is there some legal Canspam law that we have to use our real address when sending out email via Aweber? I won't be sending out anything shady; I just don't want random people showing up at my place.

What do you all do to get around the address issue?

I user GetResponse, the services is quite good. There is lots of autoresponder in the market, most of the features is the same.

Cheers,
Donald

Your email deliverability rates will most likely be better with something like Aweber than with a self-hosted solution. Or so they claim (but I've had issues with self-hosted mailing software in the past, that wasn't duplicated with the same email sent from another service).

check out infinite autoresponder - it's free, I've used it and it works fine. You can set the times you want, the only problem is you can't mail an attachment. You'll have to email them a link to download your bonus. that' s my only complaint with it. It's basic, but it's free and will do most things you need.

When sending commercial email, the Federal CAN-SPAM Act does
require that a valid postal address be included within your email.

AWeber doesn't require that it be the address that you signed up with, but
any valid postal address that you use for business correspondence.

A lot of of customers use PO Boxes, which is a great way to go!

Also, the address can be different per campaign, so it never need
be your home address!
