we all spend countless hours staring at these monitors
who does it full time works up to 16 hours a day
who ( like me ) still sucks and has a day job works on affiliate marketing whenever he can
I use to try to work several hours at night, but I find out I often waste my time because I don't have a well laid out plan to follow (read none at all...)

what do you do in your typical work day (I mean as an affiliate)?

Wake up, check stats, smoke a bowl, drink coffee, smoke a cigarette, check stats, keyword research, site building/modifications, general strategy, go to class or do required things for the day (outside of internet), come back check stats, check stats, eat, bowl, cigarette, then finish off the day with a little traffic building.

coffee and fag whilst comp boots
check all sites are online and ok
check stats
check overnight earnings
check posts for replies
probly write an article or two
read feeds if there is anything new and/or interesting

then it just depends how i feel...

might run a script or two
might build a site or two
might build a new script or two
might write more articles
might post on a blog or forum or two or three or four or .....

might not do buggerall but sit and browse all day

whatever i do it always involves lots of coffee and many smokes

check adbrite, adwords make sure everything is running alright

go back to sleep

repeat 2 hours later

eat breakfast

get lunch with the girlfriend

take a nap

go the gym

dinner

hangout with friends

check payouts, make sure i didn't spend more than i made, and I can sleep well, otherwise I'm back to the drawing board and don't go to sleep until i have a new idea.

Just kidding, staring at prosper and stats will not get your traffic up!!!!

Good KW's, Campaings and Bids will, so make sure to monitor your campaigns Correct, and if your only using one source of PPC, i.e. Adwords, then expand!!

I actually like adcenter, I find I am getting A LOT more impressions on the same kw's that I have with other PPC networks.

PPC is all about experminting what works for you, your landing page, and the deal you're running.

Use at least 100 clicks to the offer page , to do your experimenting, find out your

CPC, their CPC, and Conversion % , and you can be on your road to quitting that

day job!

really dont need the job, but its an extra 70k/year that doesnt really hurt my online business too much... either way, ill probably quit within the next few months.. dont really like waking up so early

Yes!!!!! I echk stats like every 30 minutes. I know its a waste of time but cant help it anxiety or something its what is called.... lol

My condition is even worse I check stats every 10-20 min.
