Any ideas for the best software to use when setting up a EPN network?

So far I see StoreStacker, BANS, phpBay as the top ones that get the most reviews.

I see that StoreStacker is the only one with integrated RSS, but since phpBay is a WP plugin, that shouldn't be hard to overcome.

Thanks and go blow yourself!

i love bans...im still making hundreds per month on sites i havent touched in 6+ months

i bought the software 2 years ago for $99...probably made $20k so far...one of the best purchases ive made so far

BANS sucks in a lot of ways (the code is horrible; it's difficult to modify, relies on legacy php behavior, your error log will be packed with notices, the template system is very rigid and fragile, the paging mechanism is asinine, it's not terribly SEO-friendly, doesn't pull feeds efficiently, and looking at the code has made my sql-injection radar twitch a couple times) but works and is a decent value.

These are the kinds of endorsements that belong on their sales page! Another one for PHPbay, then?

I started off with Bans. I installed it on one site and then I noticed how annoying it was to use. So what I ended up doing was using a modified template that came with Bans and using the editor kit widget.

The editor kit widget is cool because you can put in custom IDs and track which keywords convert. I haven't tried the new custom banner widget, that allows you to completly control color, size, etc.

I've been doing this for about a year now, never failed. And so far, ebay is my #1 money maker bringing in $$$$$ monthly.

phpbay > BANS, simply because you can do so much with a wordpress setup. there are literally tons of plugins that can "enhance" your SEO.

setup caffeinated content on phpbay, throw in some cheap social bookmarking backlinks and voila... some good chump change.

Totally agree.

I setup a site with mcjiffy (mcjiffy.com), it's open source and free so if you want to jack with the php you can.
