Some suggest to have under 20 keywords per Adgroup but if I have a lot of keywords then I will have to create a bunch of Adgroups. Is this really a way to do it ? Why does it even matter and how do I group keywords ? Thanks.

Is this for content or search? This should be moved to the traffic and content section.

It doesn't matter what section is, content or search we can help wherever don't you think so? I don't see the problem there, you should give advice if you can!

Ace,

Google will only recognize 50 at any given time anyway, so if you have a bunch you're really not utilizing your resources that well.

Also, the more transparent you can be with your ads (keyword -> adcopy -> LP) the higher conversions you'll have. You're probably pissing away quite a bit of cash if you're not keeping your adgroups tight.

Oh for fuck's sake, the kid is at least trying.

Yeah, you need to put pretty much every keyword in its own group to be laser targeted, and yes its a fuck of a lot of work doing it by hand so get some tools. It matters because Gooble prizes relevance, and you have more control over relevance with smaller, more focused adgroups.

The secret sauce is the right combo of keywords/ads/landing pages. That's successful PPC in a tight-assed little nutshell for ya.

Gooble gives you a free tool called AdWords Editor, download it and master it.

Then come back with less basic questions and you won't get buttfucked so hard.

Go to YouTube. Search for Adwords Editor video. You should find a few videos for how to use it. They should hep explain how to group your keywords better.

Yes it's the way to do it because that's what they want:

25 maximum for the search network
50 maximum for the content network

Why does it even matter and how do I group keywords ? Thanks.

It matters because they know that if you put more then that they don't think you can be relevant. What they want and what you can do are two different things. Unfortunately they hold all the traffic so you have to play by their rules.
