My response from G after asking why no content network. Fukin haters.

Hello XXXXX,

Thank you for your email regarding XXXXXX.com. This site has been
impacted as well by the quality push due to general feedback from the
content network. There is no further action you can take to get your ads
for this site placed on the content network. It is due to history data we
have regarding the industry and affiliate nature of the business model.

We apologize and thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

XXXXXXXX X.
The Google AdWords Team

if you even read the QS guidelines you would know they don't like affiliates.

I'm glad that you've uncovered this. I almost wasted a lot of time trying to make money on google.

Google hates duplicate content so build your website around a niche of your choice and write genuine content.

they don't like them because they think that only the deserve to make money online

And exactly how do you suppose they make monies online, hmmm? That's right, they get it from advertisers who pay good bucks to get people who are interested in taking a specific action to click on their ads and be happy they did.

That means that doofus asshats who try to plug irrelevant shit in get banned, because they fuck it up for the targeted buying visitor, who is the product that Google sells to advertisers.

Like already pointed out , step up or step off.

step up or step off.

Pretty much yeah,

Its not that Google hates affiliates its that they hate anything not valid to there user base, duplicate content, bad content, ect... the list goes on forever.

You can still do good via Google but you really do have to diversify and leave the old age tactics dead in the ditch where they belong.

I had big G do two things to me today which makes me consider cutting all ties. Remind you this all happened in 1 day.

1) I try to use my gmail account and mention the words "blog" "blogs" and "content aggregator" in one email. They decide in real time not to send it. To edit it down to just the first paragraph and send that. And send me to a page explaining the Big Brother tactic. Why was my message rejected? - Gmail Help

2) I was forced by a web design course to start a Google Sites and submit papers through that. I named it webdesignlosangeles and was hoping to get some rankings and link off to whatever. But I was not doing anyhting like that yet. I was posting some unique content and my homework. They suspended the account and are not showing anything. Now I petitioned to get it back or I have to explain to my teachers why my homework has been eaten by Google.

And today I was actually thinking of going to get an Android phone. Completely not going happen if this is where they are heading. I mean really I dont want my phone thinking I am a bad person and must be punished if my phones GPS says I was in a strip club?

And after all of this my gmail works but is showing me ads for "content generators".

Just make sure you set your personal preferences to "Do not filter my search results." under the safe search feature and android will suggest you better strip clubs instead of calling your parents to rat you out that your underage at a strip club.

Controlling the content of your personal emails is big-brotherism, plain and simple. Screw Google, who are they to say what you should and shouldn't send in a private email message?

I realize they own the servers and all but something like this borders on violations in privacy.

Those assholes are getting more evil every day.

/agree That is completely unacceptable. I have been a huge fan and user of Gmail since the beginning, because I love the Archive & Search setup, but this is grade A bullcrap. They've obviously become much too powerful, time to pull the plug.

I do not believe it is the "nature of the site" anymore with Google and I had a feeling this was coming after all the acai stuff. Content campaigns are tough to keep up at all and random search campaigns are being taken down too (this from a few diff people). Sure, you might not have any problems on anything right now, but as soon as you do absolutely anything to tip Google off that you are an affiliate, your account will be flagged and you will probably eventually start seeing your stuf get slapped on that account from now on. Here is an interesting read someone posted in another thread:

Google is cracking down on multiple industries they have deemed "Illegitimate." This guy isn't the only one BTW…

First went AOL, then Microsoft, next was eBay. Isn't Google next? I predict they'll be the next behemoth to go into decline for the sin of hubris.

What's the next best network after Google?
