Personally I don't use this tool as much as I should but I don't do much epn/physical goods nowadays though starting to get back into it. A lot of you probably know about this tool already but if you don't and you're running EPN sites or any review sites based on physical products you should probably be using Terapeak.
I'm not going to go in depth on what you can do in there just go watch the demo etc
Some ideas on using the info:
Say you have a site about golf balls, we go in there and search for golf balls, sort the info to see which ones get the most bids and what's hot. Look up the top seller in the niche and see what he's selling or see which seller has the highest sell-through rate (#of sales / #of auctions - this info is GOLD). Start pushing those products. If you see a seller dominating the niche that has an extremely high sell through rate consider throwing up a featured seller banner at the top of your site.
Of course you also get a list of all the hot categories and the ones with the highest sell through rates, etc. There's really an unlimited number of niches you could get into with proper research with this tool and you'll know before hand whether the stuff sells or not.
You can put really broad stuff in there and nail down very specific niches within a broad category. You can also see what categories and subcategories are hot and do your research from there.
Let's do an example using the search feature.
I just typed in electronics and found that some "gold tester" got like 50 bids. Now I go and search for gold testers and get this info.
Avg. Price:
$120.13
Start Price:
$94.67
Listings:
772
Sell-Through:
65.54%
Looks pretty good to me. Now we research the top seller and find he's made $63k in sales over the last 60 days. His shit has the following stats:

$200.23
Start Price:
$241.42
Listings:

Sell-Through:
54.63%
Build EPN site, profit. You could even do Adwords on this since there are only 3 pages of ads. Mind you there are probably thousands of niches like this that only have a handful of Adwords of advertisers if you're not the SEO type. This is just a quick and dirty example but there are certain niches and products that get 90%+ sell through rates with little advertiser competition.
I could go on and on but you get the general idea of what's possible with this, go watch the demo and vids to see what other info you can pull.
