Just got the e-mail...Copeac will be discontinuing their rewards program except for those who are their best and most loyal affiliates (called "LEADers").

Copeac's rewards program was not too exciting.

I think:
$25k+ - $50
$50k+ - $100
$75k+ - $200
$100k+ - $500

Here are the LEADer requirements.

LEADer
- Face to face meet and greet
- A long standing history with COPEAC
- Loyalty and consistency with COPEAC
- Outstanding quality and high volume traffic

hm...

IMO I'd rather be compensated through higher payouts versus getting chump change through a rewards program.

Isn't the requirement for LEADer's 50k a month? So the only think I see that there doing is taking away the $50 GC from the ppl who do 25k. I have gotten a few of there GC's and still haven't used them so not really a big deal.

Let's face it, if you're making 100K a month through COPEAC, do you really give a crap about the $500? That's toilet paper substitute.

maybe not but its a lot of money to many (most?) people. I'm sure your local soup kitchen would give a crap about $500. So I mean, lets not pretend $500 is worthless, no matter how much you are making.

personally i always want higher payouts over rewards or contests or any other dumb crap

edit: also i bet you there is some dude somewhere running 100k a month to copeac and barely breaking even. He cares about his plum rewards money and his $500 gift card.

I just furnished my whole condo with gift cards so I would definitely say I care about them

Gifts cards are tax free and for some reason, just fun as shit to buy things with.

I love buying things with my gift cards. Give me a couple of $500 or $1000 gifts cards any day of the week and I'm happy.

Yeah, but if you're not making 100k you're not getting a $500 reward so it's a moot point for the people for whom $500 is a lot of money.

The point is completely valid - when you're making $100k, $500 really isn't all that important, especially when getting rid of it in exchange (for example) for a 1% payout bump is an extra $1000 per month, which is already twice that $500 gift card.

you might want to double check that, hydras are reported.

Yea, I always assumed you had to pay taxes on them and technically only use them for business supplies or biz trips since your entity earned them. Doing otherwise would seem to go against commingling personal and business funds. Same with the plum card. You get 2% back but most likely if your doing volume you lose 40%+ to taxes. So your only really getting a little over 1% back. Better than nothing but not as good as it sounds.

Anyone ask their accountant and get a different take on it? I'm just going off what I was told.

Exactly. Thank you.

I don't think the guy above can grasp what making 100K per month really means.

Let me spell it out for him/others.

100K per month = approx $3333.33 per day = $138.88 per hour.

So for 4 hours of sleep out of over 700 hours per month, you're making $500.

Be at this level for awhile and you'll be using hundred dollar bills to stuff down into your pants instead of socks like you do now for Disco Night.

You're generating $100k a month in revenue to earn that $500 gift card. There's a big difference between generating $100k in revenue and making $100k in profit.

Let's assume you made a 30% profit margin off that 100k generated to Copeac, and then get that profit gets taxed, yea $500 isn't as small as you guys are describing it.

i don't think you can fucking grasp the difference between revenue and profit so good job completely missing my point sherlock.

I'm talking profit, I come from the email world where margins aren't like PPC.

Listen, if someone gives me a $500 gift card, I'm not gonna say NO. That isnt my point. I am simply saying when you're in the realm of 100K profit a month, you aren't doing it because of motivation to get that gift card.

If you want to motivate me to work 24 hours a day and make 3-4 times what I normally make, you'd have to offer something substantial.

If you look forward to your $500 gift card, that's awesome man. Whatever motivates.

It's not a huge amount of $$$, but it's free $. You'll still continue earning your revenue, and then you can pocket $500 extra as a bonus. On a side note, of course it's not motivational. That, I will not disagree on.
