Are you attending affiliateconvention?

Ok, who is in for 1 day at the conference, 1 day for whitewater rafting, and to close things up, a long trip to the Coors brewing company?

I'd love to come but damn, I live a few thousand miles away :(

I'll be there since it is only a whooping 17 mile drive for me. RSVP'd for the Shoemoney party and affiliate bash party. Not expecting too much from the event itself, but might be a great networking opportunity. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up.

You know they just recently invented these ship like things people call them airplanes.

you get in one and it goes really really really fast. the coolest thing is you can go to a place called an airport and find the one that goes just to the place you need.

it can get kinda scary there sometimes. make sure to bring basic survival essentials like. I decent hunting knife, some waterproof matches, fish hooks and a big bottle of nyquil.

I promise you will have a blast.

I wish they would have not labeled all the sessions as "super affiliates bla bla" and then present beginner information partially weaker than presented in any eBook. The black hat/white hat session was fun, but not a learning experience - rather some show-off from the so-called Pros. Thursday was the better day for information.

For a first-time convention it was Ok. I think they tested the waters and it will hopefully improve over time. I personally was able to meet a few of my affiliate managers who were there and that was worth the 20 miles "travel" to the show.

lol - the party on Wednesday night was in a cheesy strip club. Kinda fun, but also kinda cheap. Many female conference attendants felt offended from what I heard.

I second that...
I found nothing there worthy of being called "super affiliate anything". Even if I were a total beginner, I think I would've been disappointed at the lack of useful information. The black hat/white hat session was a joke. Nothing useful there at all, just a bunch of posing and winking/nudging.

I gave up pretty quickly on the networking, as everyone I made an effort to talk to was a clueless noob. Maybe some kind of structured networking would be helpful next time around.

Conference Fail.

Would anyone be up for some kind of Colorado meet-up in the future? I know there are a few others here in CO...
