Really Pissed About Zwinkys Toolbar offer

Alright, so I'm sure you've atleast seen the zwinkys (cartoon yourself) toolbar offer around...I know for sure, it's on NeverBlue, COPEAC and Azoogle.

A pretty shitty offer I'd say in terms of what they offer. It's the same spyware/adware company that offered "free smileys" and "cool-cursors" that annoy the heck out of the users.

I downloaded their toolbar .exe and scanned it and here are the results.

So I'm promoting this since a week and everything is going except last two days. The conversion rate dropped like shit and the shit's not converting, even thought the traffic source is the same.

Second thing I notice is that I never get credited for users that install their toolbar on firefox (which, undoubtedly, is a lot of traffic). :angrysoapbox_sml:

They don't mention in the campaign description that it won't convert for firefox users, WHAT THE FUCK!? ...and I also suspect that the advertiser is scrubbing my leads since last 2 days, although I have no way of proving that...

Anyone else has same rants as mine?

I didnt know there were issues with FF :(

The first few days I ran it were good, then conversions just dropped.
 
do you really think people downloading this crap have any clue what firefox is?

but the shaved leads do suck, talked to your AM about it? From what I understand zwinkys offers are pretty legit and people have been running them consitently. maybe your traffic sucks?
 
is this CONFIRMED that firefox leads do not convert on zwinky? it doesnt say it anywhere in copeac or neverblue. i just started testing this shit and it was about break even but have not had a chance to optimize and re-direct the user agents that don't convert (i assume the mac/safari people)
 
Have you tried rotating between 2 networks? Easy way to prove that your getting shaved. I've been running zwinky for about a year now - and looking at my analytics - it would appear for me atleast that firefox is converting, just much lower than that of IE.
 
UPDATE: My EPC dropped like shit today. Don't know what's wrong, since my traffic source is the same.

And the Zwinkys advertiser confirmed today that their shitty spyware filled toolbar offer only converts for IE users, and DOES NOT convert for FIREFOX, CHROME, OPERA, FLOCK or ANY OTHER BROWSER.

Neither the network nor the advertiser gives a shit about many issues with the offer...

spoke to my aff manager and no problems with the sales rep in terms of tracking...hmmmm, shady gaiz!!! My ecpc also went to shit. .09 cents when it was more than double that...
 
The offer is tracking. You just suck at advertising it. It's a totally different type of advertising in comparison to the traditional ones you have used. It is great for monetizing junk traffic (especially junk social traffic).

Don't even waste time asking your AM.
