Dude selling the stuff reported the post and had it removed. He also dropped me a pm claiming that he had never heard of eli's blog till after he launched his wso - I tend to believe him based on how he presented himself in the PM.
 
Hey, what's up? Just wanted to clear it up, I literally (seriously) didn't know about Eli's blog until after I found this technique which I told whoever was commenting on my WSO. I told someone what I was trying out with a few new sites and they told me it was "bluehat" so that's what I called it. I want to be really clear about this: I've read ONE post on Eli's blog (the $100 a day one...with the screensavers..by the way that shit rocks). This has nothing to do with any other posts, none of this is from his blog, etc. etc. Seriously. Thanks a lot.

What I am going to show you is how to INSTANTLY and AUTOMATICALLY build backlinks to your site—even if it is BRAND NEW with no PR or content. • Wp-O-Matic plugin (free)
• A few minutes to get everything set up 

Let’s break this down in steps.
1.) I’m not going to cover how to install a Word Press blog or how to get your domain set up, that’s all basic stuff and I’m assuming you already know how to do it. So, step 1 is to get your WP blog installed and running.
2.) Install the Wp-O-Matic plugin (it’s free!) and find a related RSS feed to your niche. If you’re doing a blog or website about dog training, go find an RSS feed that pulls news headlines and snippets from a pet related news site—just as an example. Get at least 5 or 6 of these RSS feeds. Under “Campaigns” in the Wp-O-Matic plugin (after it is installed) you can click “Edit” and enter in these feeds, it looks like this:
3.) In Wp-o-matic, under the “Options” tab, set the frequency to about 2 hours. The idea here is to have the RSS feeds posting a lot of content to our blog so we can get a lot of posts.

4.) Set up your permalinks in Word Press. In WP go to settings > permalinks and then select the following:
This will help the search engines crawl and index our site and attract visitors (and spammers—which we want, you’ll see).
5.) Next in WP go to Settings > Writing and scroll to update services. Copy the following list of ping services into this box:

7.) Next we will want to make sure our site will get indexed in Google as soon as possible. Here’s what to do. You need to go to Google Webmaster tools and add your site to your account or register for one and add your site. Then verify it to make sure Google knows you own this site. You may also want to social bookmark your site on Digg.com or Reddit as well. Next, go to:

8.) Sit back and let your site auto-post for a few days, weeks or (for best results--) months. Sooner or later the spamming commenters will come along and start spamming your blog and building backlinks to YOUR site. All while you do absolutely nothing…
9.) After you have received the preferred number of backlinks you can 301 redirect your blog address (i.e. yoursitename.com/blog) to your main page like i.e. yoursitename.com/myhomepage.html or something like that.
TO RECAP:
So what’s the big idea of everything outlined above? Well the idea is to get a lot of content in the search engines and be indexed. This will attract the notorious “spam bots” to come and spam our comments section—which we left open and vulnerable. Does this serve as a great backlink for the spammers? YES! For now at least!  After the spiders have spammed our pages they often and frequently backlink to their OWN COMMENTS (i.e. YOUR blog). After this has taken place and you’re satisfied with the amount of backlinks you’ve gotten, simply 301 redirect your page to your new website (on the same domain). This can be a message board, a static site, a Joomla install or even your same Word Press blog (with the comments turned off and deleted). ALSO—You DO get substantial links back from the RSS feed of the sites that you pull from. They will be notified that you’re posting material and in many cases will link back to your site (or other similar RSS sites will).

Q: Are these poor quality links?
A: NO. My first time making the rounds doing this I got backlinks from PR5 and PR6 websites.
Q: Will there be a lot of out bound links on these pages that the comment spammers hit?
A: Sometimes—sometimes not. In many cases my comments with the links back were the only comments on those pages. In other words, the sites comment pages were outbound linking to MY page alone.

Eli, you've said yourself that your posts are a catalyst for bigger ideas. Personally I came away from reading posts like the Blackhole SEO one absolutely buzzing for about a week.

Therefore, spoon feeding methods like this is missing half the point. These guys will be forever scraping around for the next how-to manual without ever really thinking about what they're doing.

Good luck to them, as they say- imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I'd say the lil' prick has whats coming to him, but i've already researched him and he's already made a colossal failure out of himself so I can't do what he's already done to himself.

To be fair this is slightly different black hole seo from Eli's. Wasn't Eli's about getting content in the rss aggregators and waiting for bots to scrape it and link back to your site?This technique talks about leaving your blog open to comment spam..

They are different, although a clever person would read Eli's posts and get ideas like this one, its not actually copying Eli.

I like the way he instantly responded aggressively as soon as you called him out, so defensive haha. Quadzilla's blog is a miserable bag of shit anyways, the only reason anyone reads it is because noobs type in 'blackhat seo' and he appears in the top 5.
 
You're absolutely right xmcp. He is at least in violation of copyright so the way i see it he owes WF a spoon pic to call it even. I'd be more aggressive about ppl jacking the stuff and reselling it because it is a dick move but honestly it gets tough to care about the more it happens. If it was the first or even tenth time I'd probably do something but just my abandoned wordpress accounts post itself got repackaged and sold enough times to make me quit caring. I care more about gurus reposting it and giving fucked up info trying to make themselves sound like they have experience then anything. That's what pisses me off. The rest I see as just another way to get the word out about the techniques. I don't like warrior forum but unfortunately none of them will ever read yours or my blog unless it was packaged in an ebook and sold to them. Thanks btw midas for sending out those pms. Maybe it'll open their eyes up a little bit and they'll realize how retarded they are for paying for that information.

I gotta say though andrew is right. At least he took cycle sites. Cycle sites was never my idea. In fact by the time I posted about them I had to save a copy of the autopost plugin for readers to use because the author of it shut it down due to too many people using it for that very purpose. That's why the original black hole seo post worked so damn well.

Thanks again guys, whenever i see someone ripping off other people's seo blogs I get upset to and its good to know so many ppl have your back when it happens. To quote quadzilla: "The idea that you get “a couple hundred emails” from fans about duplicate posts is laughable. No one gives a flying fuck in this industry about one person copying another’s posts / ideas and you sure as shit don’t have 100 people that email you about anything." LOL I should hire him to go through my inbox every day since he apparently has so much freetime from not having to respond to emails.
