The guy killed was a bully and a low life thug.
But that does not justify killing him. As an ex-Karate student, we are taught that when you reach a high level, your hands are considered deadly weapons (not only by the dojo, but by law enforcement).
The black belt should have known this. He could have hurt the guys arms or legs. But no, the fuck goes for the head... WTF was he thinking? He should fry in jail.

He got ragey when he was losing, you see he starts grabbing when they're up against the wall. When he got ragey and started grabbing him, the victim said "you've got it man, you got it." conceding defeat. There was no need to hurt his arms, legs, head, or anything but his ego. He had "won."
They claim to be badass marines/black belts when they took that long to beat up a high or retarded man? What douchebags.

And there are VERY few karate folks who have "deadly weapons" for hands. A black belt in most traditional martial arts means dick.
Yea that's what I was thinking... video in 1984, if the guy died, he wouldn't be around stupid enough to upload a video that would self-incriminate him, and would likely already have charges against him back in the 80s.
And between high and mentally challenged, people pick the latter for headlines now days as it makes them seem more harmless to the viewer/reader (kinda like headline bout how cops tazed a mentally challenged person... which happened to be diagnosed with ADD...)
It takes longer than you think to die. Don't know whether this guy lived or not, but him gasping and twitching at the end is indicative of someone dying in real life. It's not like the movies.
i'm aware of what dying looks like. i've also seen people's heads split open and spilling a lot more blood in real life than that. without confirmation, i would say he was more on the verge of blacking out than on the verge of dying. i don't see any gasping or twitching, just slow arm/hand movements before unconsciousness.
also, as others have said, the guy would have been busted a long time ago if he died and was "thrown in a dumpster out back", considering it was filmed in 1984. it wouldn't take 25 years to find a body in the trash.
Yeah, I tend to agree with that. I doubt he died because there were too many witnesses (people talk), a video (with the exact date given for extra evidence) and he would be a complete fucktard to upload evidence of that for all too see.
That being said, I've seen people do dumber shit than that...
