Fuck EPN - It's not an affiliate program, it's a fucking bingo game.

You know, the funny thing about this whole thing is EPN used to kind of be a great starting point for guys who wanted a low-risk entry to the Internet Marketing space. Late 2008-present all the new guys jumped into flogs/farticles and just copy/pasted other landers and tweaked until they were profiting. Now that a number of networks are banning such approaches, I'm guessing a good population of AMs have no clue how to build a branded lander and convert the traffic.

That's a good thing though, with any luck, a good number of am's will drop out!

@bb_wolfe: I was in the process of making a site to try and get accepted into EPN. Since it seems like it's turning to shit now, what would you suggest?

Not looking to have a hand held, just turned into the right direction.

In all seriousness, click on the C2M link in my sig, sign up, and dedicate your life for 5 weeks to 16 hour days, 7 days a week work. Not kidding.

5 weeks? isn't that a little short?

btw, what do you guys think about populating stores with shareasale and cj instead of epn/amazon

I'm gonna go with amazon. 160 mini sites. Xmas is gonna be sweet this year.

Yo BB - hit up the BST section for a new sig banner. My eyes keep tricking me into thinking you failed at a boob link or something.

If you can't get profitable in 560 hours, you need to get the fuck out of marketing.

Thanks bb for the help but I'm already a member of C2M and spent the last 9 months learning about AM and due pretty good with C2M and some of the other networks but it's mostly just rebills and has a short life span. I've got 3 kids and 1 more on the way so I really need to start thinking of a long term strategy. I just threw that question out to you since your one of the more knowledgeable guys around here.

You might want to rethink that one... But it's cool if making $300/week is your thing!

If he can build them in a week, and pull some $ and serps with them. Do it. Thats how I work. volume volume volume. If One hundred and whatever bring you $300/week, make 150 a week for a month. Take the winners and scale.

I have also seen my fair share of de-index if you leave a big enough trail...

Dont know man, those sites are so easy to throw together and require no time to maintain... I put one up as an an experiment a month ago. Took me 2-3 hours, plus getting the header designed. Its done $200 profit in the last month with no more work. Google slapped the PPC campaign straight away, so this is all organic. Started off 6th on Google organic, made a Squidoo lens for it (1 hour) and now the site is first in Google for the main keyword. Current conversion rate: 50.67%. No fucking kidding. Haven't touched it in a month.
Just seems to be a matter of finding the right tight niche and doing a little SEO work for it. Not bad for a first try.

Gonna throw up a few dozen more of these, while I focus on my on my other PPC shit.

Averaged $300/week with four 10 page sites last Xmas (mid NOV - mid DEC). Not saying its great money or anything, but it works for me, takes little time to set up and there is no risk involved (domains, meh).

If I can pull off at least $2000/week with all of those sites over the Christmas I'll be fucking happy.

I converted my EPN sites into proper retail sites a couple of months back. Dropshipping ftw!! They're not exactly set and forget, but they work.

:R:

If your working with the huge companies you are going to get screwed. Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Dell, none of them care about you and are jsut using you paying you as little as possible.

Their CEO changes and the program is canned.
