I have updated and improved the CSV Import Plugin for Wordpress. Upload your CSV file and populate your site with CSV content remixed to your liking. Perfect for populating your site with tons of content for SEs to index.

How it works:

  1. Find or buy a CSV database
  2. Upload your CSV database into the plugin.
  3. Set your desired Posts per Day, Category Format, Title Format, and Post Format
  4. Import scores of posts to your site

The CSV merge fields in your Category, Title, and Post format will be replaced with actual CSV values to create your posts.

Use the plugin to get content indexed related to your Adsense, auction2post, phpBay, or Amazon affiliate site.

Note: I am aware of free CSV import/export scripts, however they work differently and do not remix the content in this way. Also, this is not designed to be a review site plugin, it's merely for importing bulk CSV content.

Sounds handy, you giving out any review copies or can you show us some reviews elsewhere?

Is it ok with large files (100k+ records)? With script timeout limits etc?
 
Lazy - I tested this a while ago and worked on it doing what I wanted, assuming that other people might want it the same functionality.

He just added some features in response and made it work more reliably on different hosts as I was having some problem with future dating posts.

Additionally there are now Tags that can be set to variables, text, or a combination. WDMNY should take a new screen shot. It now does TAGS.

Now that works great and even randomizes the time on the day the posts are set to fire.

Future dated posts are published and just sitting scheduled for the date to roll past. Perfect

The new format is "Category" "Tags" "Title" "Post Format" from bottom to top.

WDMNY has added a tags form field that can be set the same way as the others with text, variables, or a mixture of both. My Post Format is complicated and uses html formatting, img src, nofollows links, and text that I want on all posts.

You can see your csvs header fields on the right as you import so you know it worked and can copy paste them into the fields easily.

It is very simple in look and feel, but is how I like software. Powerful, flexible, fast.

I have 2 projects at least I plan to use with this but have not gotten to as I had something else come up on the weekend.

It's damn good.

As Drake mentioned, I updated the plugin to handle tags as well as randomizing the time each day posts are set live. I updated the screenshot to show the new field for tags.

Also, as Drake said, you can mix text and HTML in the content however you want. If your CSV file has image URLs or page URLs you can add A href tags or img tags to display images or create links in your content. Ex:

Please add the ability to specify custom fields to import data to also. :)

That would make this even more powerful.
 
Stupid question but your script could interest me :
- Does it work with the CSV products files of the affiliate networks ?

It's not my program but I reviewed it above. Yes it can read csvs of pretty much any type.

You might want to rename the header columns but I dont believe you have to.

It will show the header columns of imported things on the right side of the plugin.

When I tested it, and the 2 sites I use it on now I use an affiliate datafeed.
