Wasn't quite like that for me, they didn't use an OR but rather the standard room where they normally see their patients, and they had all the stuff setup to keep it from just going everywhere like that. I imagine the shit inside musta been somewhat the same, I saw mostly just blood as they took shit out, they also took cultures via swabs to see exactly what kind of infection I had (so that they can figure out if they need to switch my antibiotics or not).
On the serious side that actually looks nice. There's no infection, swelling or accumulation of fluid in the tissue.

To the left and right of the opening is still a bit of soreness possibly some inflamation, which the doc warned could turn into an absess as well, but we're hoping not, as it wasn't when he used the ultrasound at the time and I had already started antibiotics at that time.
