"Tell me what you want. I can make it happen."

I want to write content for wickedfire>sell/buy/trade. There is one problem though- I want to know what people want.

"I want a review copy. Topic is Yellow Submarines."

A review copy of an article, but what is it supposed to be like? Do they want me to do an encyclopedia entry on yellow submarines? A review of the hottest yellow submarines of Fall 2009?

Give me examples, links, landing pages, anything that will help me understand what people want here.

"Show me the money."

How do financial transactions work? I see iTrader. How do I use it?

Ciao,
Josh

If it's just a general topic like that then I'd just write a short informational article on that general topic. Unless they ask specifically, then you don't need to do a product review or sales copy or anything. If people want those things, or a more specific topic, they'll ask.

As long as it's on the topic it's supposed to be and written in good English and doesn't sound like a total idiot wrote it then I'd be happy. If I wanted something really specific I'd write it myself.

That's my take.

Gotcha thanks.

How about this iTrader thing? How do people pay each other? Is there a secure system for payment?

iTrader is just a way to leave feedback about a transaction. WickedFire does not have a system for making/receiving payments, most people just use PayPal.

Dude, just collect some money up front. You'll be good. And as already suggested, use PayPal.

Scammers don't really last long in S/B/T cause word gets out- not just here, but everywhere else they try to go.

If you can deliver relatively quickly, demonstrate that you have a conversational quality about your writing, pay attention to detail and don't try to send an obvious spin job, you'll do fine. Unless someone wants you to write as an "expert," the subject isn't really that important.

And don't use "CS passed" in your pitch, it's like the "0g Trans Fat" label on a box of Twinkies- it doesn't mean shit.

Gotcha. I assume it's not worth the pixels it's displayed on.

BTW- First review copy requested, sent in after a few hours, got good review in my thread.
