I have a bodybuilding supplement store, using Prestashop for the software right now. Prestashop doesn't have a credit card processor, so there is an offline module. They enter their info and we run it through the credit card machine in our physical store.

Sooo the last few days we've been getting a few (maybe 10 or more) orders where the credit card gets declined. Prestashop shows these customers coming from google.co.ve. They usually make $300-$500 orders, and they all go to addresses in Miami. They are spanish/mexican looking names like Jose.

Any ideas what I should do about this? Any way to get them in trouble?

you can't really do anything to get them in trouble, the cops don't give a shit about you. Call the CC company they're trying (visa mastercard or whatever) and tell them. They'll get stuff done about it.

Try the police or fbi?
Wouldn't know where to start and I have a feeling it would be pointless.

I lost my laptop in Vegas during the Olympia which was the end of September, and I called the PD but was forwarded to a machine. Then I emailed them and I just got a reply YESTERDAY. It was a canned response, gave me a number to call, I was put on hold for 10 mins and they told me to call another number so I hung up.
/end side rant

This is true. Even if they do give a shit, have fun trying to explain it to them. They won't have a clue what you're talking about.

Fill up some empty supplement bottles with dog shit and mail them to their address
should cut down on future orders

Actually he registered again with miami.express@yahoo.se. I googled "miami express" and it looks like it's some sort of shipping thing where they will ship stuff to other countries. Like you order something and Miami Express lets you use their address, then Miami Express ships it to Brazil or wherever your real address is. Maybe???

i think i've gotten those in the past. always to miami/fl area..and goes to some shipping company. i believe all if not most were all fraud.

Credit card fraud is a common problem in the world today. It happens to a lot of people. Some people are just not cautious enough, but there are some that just could not avoid the situation.
