NEW Facebook Ads

I was spending 6 figures with FB a month. I got a rep, within 3 weeks I was banned completely - thanks to them.

I dont bother anymore, but id say stay as far under the radar as possible.

Similar situation - only I ended up banned and my "account rep" fired.

There are very few cases where you want to be above radar. If you do NO dating or rebills of any sort and strictly CPS, branded trials such as netflix/blockbuster and lead gen.

Plus they are worthless at help they can provide anyways. If they do provide you with some useful services they will simply get caught eventually and fired such as in my case. There's just some levels of volume you can't go un-noticed.

I have to give kudos to Facebook for there x-system, by looking for ads with high user complaints they can beat any cloaking system eventually.

Got all my ads disapproved and a tisk tisk letter. Did what they said but now when I'm putting new ads they're not getting any impressions. No matter what I bid. Anyone else have experience around this PM me.

i just wanna say, the new ad interface has saved my ass several times. its really an improvement.

I'm in a pretty gay situation. I have this 1 campaign that only does well with 1 particular image. But this image has a shit low CTR, 0.03% and less. BUT, it converts at 300%. The ads just live for 2-3 hours before being totally shut off.

I've tested out hundreds of different images, and each and every one of those images yielded negative ROI. Though, I've been able to get CTR's as high as 0.12%.

Optimizing around a high CTR often puts you in a different direction than optimizing around a high conversion rate. They don't go hand in hand. In other words, in many cases, a higher CTR = lower conversion rate, and vice versa.

Because an ad which reads, "Click here to have $20 billed to your credit card every month in exchange for a credit monitoring service" will probably convert better than an ad which reads "Free credit report!" but the CTR will be much lower.
