Just wanted to ask how important it is to
have a Unique IP address for each Domain Name
you own and are using for Affiliate Marketing ?

I guess if you are doing PPV, it doesn't matter at all,
but if you are doing Google it might matter as they look at
IP addresses ??

It depends on the situation. Google doesn't care about unique IPs if they view you as a legitimate advertiser... on that note, goodluck becoming a legitimate advertiser

It sounds like you're concerned regarding Adwords not allowing you to advertise because of being on a shared IP? If so then you have nothing to worry about - I doubt Google would care in this instance.

If you are, however, trying to get a few sites ranked in the search engine make sure each one is on it's own IP just in case one site/IP is banned. Spend the extra few bucks and have every site hosted on a unique c-class IP.

Use SEOhosting with the coupon 35off to get the first month, if you choose the baby plan, for a dollar.

It used to be super important. Not so much now that blogs and social networks can have millions of important pages treated as separate sites. The unique IP crutch kind of became outdated unless you are just an outright SEO spammer. In that case the unique IP just helps to keep the heat off of you a bit longer since they can't quickly make the connection between your sites.

Age of domain and quality of backlinks matter much more. Focus on that.

great stuff. Thanks for the advice! My host is charging me $1 per extra IP address per month,
so i wanna keep them to a minimum.

Anyone got a recommendation for dedis or VPS's that can give many c block ips and isn't super expensive for making lots of sites on.

Also wondering.
Read someone say SEOhosting.com... but refuse to use 'a hostgator company'.

just keep in mind that doing reverse ip lookup can reveal a wide range of domains on an ip, therefore, to prevent your competitors from snooping, it'd be wise to put each of your domains on separate ip blocks/ranges.

some people are idiots (including some high-profile WFers) and have put all their domains under 1 ip revealing all their landers and niches.

Well I have been looking at These people

SEO Hosting Packages

No experience but they are a lot cheaper than host gators seo hosting... Still wondering if anyone else will chime in in this thread with a good solution

I have a sales ticket open to zensix to see if they offer this with their vps accounts... or can offer it. I use their shared hosting and have been thinking of getting a vps with them.. So I if they can do this.. that will seal the deal for me.

Will report back once they give me an answer

great info, now we're getting somewhere.

Anyone prefer using your own nameservers or
using your host company's name servers ?
