Lower CTR will lead to higher conversions. High CTR is usually accidental or curious clicks. You can see over a 5 fold difference in conversion depending on the ad/lander for the same site.
uh no. you just don't know how to do it properly.

has anybody heard of qulity issues on the backend on dating offers from there affiliate networks on certain offers? i am trying to figure out how the quality on POF is.

thanks

I've been blacklisted from the first and only one I promoted there. It was targeted at single 40+ people and although I used all the targeting options, it still wasn't converting well enough. I was direct linking. Maybe it could have been better if I made a landing page, but I can't try it anymore now.

have all the ppl that were blacklisted from dating offers that you ran on POF gotten paid by the networks or did they reverse commissions?

I still run offers directly and go direct to the advertiser and only do rev share. The best static links on the site are over 200k a month in revenue. You just need the ad text right as well as the landers. Lower CTR will lead to higher conversions. High CTR is usually accidental or curious clicks. You can see over a 5 fold difference in conversion depending on the ad/lander for the same site. Also keep in mind a lot of the dating sites you are promoting also use the ad platform directly so you are competing with them...

Wow this is awesome! So are you just gathering more data with zero risk? Actually people are paying you to get some free data and then you will just run things directly or am I imagining things here with that statement? Basically your platform gives you access right now to see who is spending the most and what offers they are running and based on adspend for now (until you have ROI tracking) and you can tell what is working. I'll definitely be sure not to run conversion tracking with your platform if you ever offer it not that I ever do. I wish you would add support for 3rd party ad server tags!

None the less CPMs are still fairly low so it makes it worthwhile to use and make some good money for now.

When are we going to get a drop down to know how much we spend per campaign every day? I can't even keep records of profit right now because I have no idea how much I'm spending on each campaign unless I monitor things until the stroke of midnight.

He will delay it as much as he can, because he would make LESS money that way.

Seems so, Markus has replied twice since you asked first. I also can't edit the title of my campaigns or delete them. Anyone else have this issue?

No biggie though as I can't get my ads approved anyway. You don't want free dating sites and adult (sex related yes?) dating sites, so when I try to advertise a paid dating site thats not primarily focused on sex I still get declined. Am I the one at fault here?

For bidding - why does the system always charge me what I bid instead of 1 cent higher than the next highest bidder? So if I bid 2$/CPM and the next higher bidder is 50 cents, I am still charged 2$ instead of 51 cents...WTF

So when the system first came into place, since it only accepted people from CA/US/UK, I couldn't sign up.

I signed up as soon as the system went live and people from Australia could sign up. I emailed Ben a few days ago just to see if I could get the $100 credit that everyone else got, since I couldn't sign up when it was applied automatically but did sign up as soon as I could, and I have spent a good chunk of money testing this beta system.

I got a reply back from Ben that I should have signed up when it was in BETA (despite my email specifically explaining why I couldn't) and that I was SOL because I signed up afterwards. I emailed him back (politely) explaining why that was bullshit, and haven't gotten a response yet, despite it now being a few days and Ben having replied to this thread since that time.

In the long run $100 isn't much, but seriously, what the hell kind of support is that to someone that's helping you test your shitty, buggy platform?

PM Markus, I'm sure he'll hook you up :)

Hey Markus,

How come on some campaigns the frequency capping option goes by a "per day" level, and some it's set to a "per session" level?

Same thing happened to me, only it wouldn't accept my app, kept erroring out. Ben told me tough shit too.

We shouldn't have to bypass a rep straight to the owner to get basic shit like this done.
