Can someone clarify when we need to use the suppression list when using an auto responder sequence on a double opt in list.

All the networks TOS say we need to use the provided suppression list when emailing out offers but that seems impossible to do when you have a auto responder sequence set up with a service like Aweber, Mailchimp.

Aweber told me I can only upload a suppression list when I do a broadcast.

What do you do to stay compliant and use the suppresion list when you are using an autoresponder series and each email might have info and links to multiple offers? Basically sending a mini news letter.

I've got mixed answers from managers and want to make sure I'm compliant.

If you are sending a mini newsletter, you do not need to use the suppression list provided for a campaign you might be advertising within your newsletter. This does not matter whether you are doing the mailing as part of a signup autoresponder sequence or you are doing the mailing several months after someone has signed with your mailing list.

The suppression list for a campaign only needs to be used if you are sending out an e-mail blast with a single full page ad on it and no other content.

Great, thank you for clearing that up!
