New Jersey legislators say their medical marijuana bill is the nation's strictest.

"The New Jersey legislature voted Monday to make that state the 14th in the country to approve marijuana for medicinal use, pending the governor's signature."

"Two years after the bill was introduced to the legislature, the New Jersey Compassionate Medical Marijuana Act was passed by the state Assembly in a 48-14 vote. It received Senate approval just hours later in a 25-13 vote."

I still don't understand why it is illegal? (besides for greed)

Neither do I man.

But marijuana leniency legislation seems to be sweeping the country by storm, I can't wait until the day it reaches federal level.

Everyone made their donation to NORML?

I guess California and Washington have things in the works too. :rasta:

So are they approving it just for medical use, or are they also allowing dispensaries to operate?

I glean just medical use at this time. I guess it will be the strictest medical marijuana laws yet.

As a legal California medical marijuana user, and one who deals with its marketing as well I can tell you this industry is growing fast. SEO is getting insane in all verticals.

Also, even our county (Riverside) is easing up on Dispensaries. A new very professional one opened up just out of the city limits and it is operating well.

cali is awesome.... there are TONS of them all over the place... its insane.

thing is the gov would make BANK if they regulated it.

i feel sorta discriminated against because i don't live in cali. why should they be able to get it when we can't? makes no sense.

i mean how many ppl do you hear of doing f'ed up shit when high? any DUI's? any robberies?

way safer than drinking and cigs.

I'm actually okay with criminalizing international drug trafficking that's funding a variety of horrible things.

I am totally NOT okay with any sort of punishment (including a fine) for someone who grows plants or sells some plants they grew to someone else.

It's a plant. And I've yet to ever read about a person who OD'ed on pot in the paper...

if anything has a legit medical purpose it should be lagalized for medical use...even if its crack.

Do you need a doctor to give you a prescription for weed?

For a variety of reasons, but one of them is that Hemp can be used as paper, and back in the day they were worried about it cutting into paper sales or something. I don't know man.
