The Brilliant thing about Palin is that you don't have to "think" of anything clever to make fun of her. She does it all by herself.

You would be annoyed too if you saw the media push a campaign framing her as an ignoramus, and then 6 months later, every fool is repeating it like a drone. Just look at this thread - like brainwashed robots, everyone drops an 'intelligence' theme. NOBODY has an original thought. You'd think a group of marketers would be able to realize when they're being sold a bill of goods. And I'll be happy to have a normal conversation if you present original thoughts, not regurgitation.

The reason people buy it is because there's some truth to it. I do agree with you that the media usually dictates who and/or what we speak about. How we perceive a public figure or a certain topic is influenced by the media, no doubt about it. If the media were to start "marketing" her as a smart individual, I don't think the public will buy it because she doesn't come across off as that. You can't market a pile of shit as gold and expect people to believe it. You get my point?

And before you fire back at me, I'm not comparing her to shit. I'm just using a really bad analogy, haha.
