When I look at the network stats not all the sub id's are passing through, 1/10 shows up blank. When I was on the tracking pro 202 this would only happen 1/250.

I am on a dedicated server Dual Core, 8G Ram, MySQL 5.1 & Memcached with 4 GB

Is there something I can change on my PHP config for this not to happen so often ?

This sometimes use to happen on Tracking 202 pro where it would drop some sub ids but then it would get fixed.

The Landing Page Setup Goes

Landing Page (LP java tracker) - Form Submit - Congrats Page ( PHP redirect )- Offer Page

This is the same setup I have on Tracking202 PRO and it worked fine,

I know mostly everyone here uses prosper202 with high traffic , what are some of the changes you made to your php.ini ?

Thanks for the help, here's something to return the favor

I also made same post on 202 forums but its always faster to get answer here.

I wouldn't think it has anything to do with your setup but who knows.

Any chance you're getting organic visitors from search engines or people later returning to your landing page?

I tend to see a lot more blank subid's on the advertiser side when I'm running a landing page rather than direct linking. I've always assumed it's users checking out the LP, bouncing, then coming back and converting later.

Is 5.1 the most recent version of MySQL? I know if you're not on the most recent version, this starts to happen after you've gotten about 50k clicks. As far as I know the only fix is to upgrade MySQL.

I have mySQL 5.1.42 I just checked and the latest is 5.1.43, I dont know if that will make a difference or not.

Its a new install so I only have 1k clicks,

The niche is very concentrated so I am sure some are repeat visitors so it can be that the old cookies are not being over written or something

I'm having a similar issue 12% of clicks not redirected

Somebody from 202 support suggests that this could be fraud traffic. In my case all traffic came from Google content network so 12% click fraud seems a bit too high.

Anyway, I have no clue why so many subids are dropped.

Yea same with me and some of those clicks are converting, so def not fraud and it happens on the tracking 202 pro when things are not running normal, then they fix it and things start working right

We have our own tracking system, and DT seems to still drop a small percent of subids, regardless of network. Sometimes it can be the aff link you're using (if possible try a different creative id). But in general not sure why - did chase this up with network and DT a year or so ago, but DT weren't particularly helpful about it then.

This is where we have traced the visitor from source (PPC or social) to landing page to exit on aff link and for some reason the subid just gets dropped. Something to do with lots of redirects when an offer gets brokered multiple times maybe?

Ok, then no, it's people stil on 5.0 that have this problem.

Even if you had repeat visitors, they would likely show under "show all clicks", they just wouldn't show up under "show real clicks".

Also, if you have repeat visitors they keep the same subid, which is why you might see 2 instances of the same subid at some point.

I have no idea why you're having this problem though, sorry!

its def something with Prosper202 because if I add my own sub id to the offer URL like c1=lp1&c2="T202"

the c1 will always pass
