Anyone here have one? Looking at the Kindle, Sony Reader etc. I have a shitload of books in pdf I'd like to read, but I hate sitting in front of the computer and reading stuff for long periods of time. Would like something easy to carry around that is easy on the eyes, is readable in various lighting settings etc. Recommendations?

Leaning towards the Kindle DX at this point.
 


I wait for the Ipad, only 10$ more than Kindle DX but has colors and isn't only book reader
 
My wife has a Kindle. Never leaves her side. She bought a new purse that would be big enough to keep her Kindle in it. We went shopping for clothes once, she left me holding her purse outside the fitting room - but took her Kindle out of it so she could take it in with her.

Kindle owners LOVE their damn Kindles.

I'm pretty sure she was fucking it while I was at work.
 
Planning on getting an ipad for this. I figure if I don't like it I can easily resell and get a kindle.
 
i remember doing research a few months ago, the iRex seemed the be the "best" with features...but i have a feeling the kindle is overall the best...the ipod doesn't have the best features, or many really...but it's the best mp3 player...same with the kindle..
