Facebook Cease and Desist

And here it arrived...FB sent me my first ever Cease&Desist letter from their lawyers at Perkins Cole...so what do I do now?

a. send them all details they are asking by monday
b. ignore them
c. write the lawyers and ask for details
d. run as far as I can and as fast as I can
e. ...

???
 


they want:

- all profiles and account names I used
- all applications that I developed
- written confirmation that I erased and terminated all accounts created
- written confirmation that I erased and terminated all applications created
- written confirmation that I erased and terminated all user data stored
- written confirmation that I have not transferred any user info to third parties

and here the best part:
- confirmation that I will cease and desist from hereafter accessing any website owned and operated by facebook...
 
Don't ignore it... Just act stupid. Don't write back, call the attorney's office, and tell them your not sure whats going on, why would you make multiple accounts and be like "I've heard of spam before, I get it in my email, but what does this mean facebook spam?" I'm really confused.. etc. etc.

lol, don't give give them a THING in writing. Just a tip.

I don't think I'll completely ignore them, I'll reply saying I don't know exactly what they are talking about, but that anyway I won't do any more apps...
 
I would accuse them of spamming you by sending you the C&D. After that, I would tell their attorney that you will bend his wife over and give it to her in the pooper if they don't change their mind and halt all actions immediately.

Not sure why idiots like you hold lawyers on such a high pedestal... this is a C&D, there are pretty standard ways in handling them...
