Last Blog Post from The Guy Who Flew His Plane into IRS Building

No, this guy isn't crazy.

He's a pissed off patriot. Of course he could have just left the country...but what does that solve, in America?

The fucking guy gave his life to get his message seen.

The IRS has been fucking Americans in the ass for years but on that day, just for a second, an American fucked the IRS in the ass.

Wow, you guys need to work on not taking the ramblings of nut jobs at face value.

This is a good read, about what a monumental fuck up the guy was. Decoding the confession of Joseph Stack. - By Dave Cullen - Slate Magazine

people like that will never make it- for the SOLE reason that their reasoning is flawed and they cannot decision unemotionally

oh boo hoo boo hoo my rights boo hoo i'll figure out how to exploit the tax code. Uh- hey idiot, why not just play by the rules better as opposed to getting all pissed off.

I find it insane that people will spend countless hours and dollars fighting when in turn they could spend a tiny fraction and comply.

OPPORTUNITY COST kids, OPPORTUNITY COST.

This guy was seriously mentally ill. He wasted his life in a murderous gesture, but maybe because of his illness he was not fully responsible.

But his quote is correct - "How can any rational individual explain that white elephant conundrum in the middle of our tax system and, indeed, our entire legal system? Here we have a system that is, by far, too complicated for the brightest of
the master scholars to understand. Yet, it mercilessly “holds
accountable” its victims, claiming that they’re responsible for fully
complying with laws not even the experts understand.

Ignorance of the law is not a viable excuse, but it takes experts to understand small parts of it.

I'm surprised more people DON'T go postal on the IRS.

Taxation burden in this country is absolutely ridiculous. And the flagrant WASTE of that tax money by the oligarchs is simply obscene.

And not a fucking thing is gonna be fixed, not ever, because it serves the overlords to keep us all in a debtslave state. Democracy in the USA is a convenient delusion.

So shut up and pay your taxes, you good little sheep, and swallow everything Mama Goobermint tells you to.

Feh.

you've got to be fucking joking?

so basically your philosophy is "don't bother, just roll over and let them fuck you in the ass" ?

Our founding fathers would facepalm you if they read this...so allow me to do it for them.

My philosophy is if I can risk my freedom, large sums of fines, legal costs and criminal proceedings, not to mention of course the countless hours of lost time to say only pay $100 in taxes 'because I'm technically entitled to it due to XYZ complicated scenarios' OR simply create another legal entity and cross my I's and dot my T's and pay $125 in taxes I'll be doing the latter because the delta is exponentially less than the costs of me pushing it - of course this doesn't even weigh the mental stress/lifestyle/etc 'cost' which obviously took it's toll on plane boy.

I voice my opinion with my vote, my campaign contributions, and my actions, not by flying my plane into a building because I'm mad that I couldn't figure out how to ball.

The 2 people he critically injured were just regular people doing their job
They weren't just "regular people" they were IRS goons ruining peoples lives and stealing money that doesn't belong to them.

If there were more people like this plane flying guy then maybe the assholes in Washington would think twice before raising taxes on us so they can have more money to play with and waste that year. But more of us aren't like this guy, instead we are just little bitch sheep who bend over on command.

I don't know. I see a lot of big talkers behind this guy saying how everyone is sheep and such, but I don't see any of you big talkers at the airport, in your airplanes, yelling "CLEAR PROP!".

I happen to agree with Sunny here. Sure, you could get that one loophole and save a few buck, but how much are the lawyers, the audit and the stress going to cost you? You don't have to do business in America. However if you do, you should be prepared to play the game. In this case, it would mean bending over to the IRS. Also, I'm curious how many people here who're talking about the IRS bending people over voted in the last senate/governor election. Those guys have more to do with your taxes often than the Pres or the IRS.

Are you a fucking moron?
Hellblazer is right, those people working are doing their job, orders from above, and you think its ok for them to get attacked?

It was domestic terrorism. No question about it.

I'd like to see how you feel when your one rebill lead a week goes to that crazy person that kills someone close to you because you made them lose money.

Given the opportunity the IRS will take all our pounds of flesh. Your home, your bank accounts, your paychecks (and your wife's), even taxes owed on a business that completely failed. All with little warning.

Not a big fan of hurting others but the IRS building had it coming.

You don't have to do business in America.

I think this really should be the moral behind this entire thread/incident.

However, I've done a fair bit of research behind renouncing your US citizenship (or not) and heading off into other countries.

To put my research in a nutshell, the US government pretty much owns you if you're born here and they will sink their claws in you as deep as possible if you try to leave.

Here's something I was reading just yesterday: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/759866.html

Here's something I was reading just yesterday: Google Answers: taxes are too high, time to change citizenship

which is why if you want to get sweet to avoid taxes you have to PLAY BY THE RULES.

YES- you cannot simply renounce citizenship any longer - this was mainly to combat the VERY RICH doing this and moving to BVI/Caymans/Panama/Such to save multi-millions.

However- as a US citizen you can most certainly have ownership interest in an offshore corporate entity or investment fund or tech private equity incubator. Many of the aforementioned countries welcome this with open arms and favorable tax climates.

You can of course, with LEGAL CREATIVITY depending on the country be a silent partner or in some cases off the books completely or a few layers down deep.

This company can employ you as a contractor, pay you a fair/comparable salary (say - $200k/year + bonus) which you'd be taxed on in the US, however the OFFSHORE COMPANY which you don't own but a fund you may own the controlling majority in owns might have made $50M and simply keep it offshore.

Of course the company as any entity can can purchase things and provide their employees/executives use of them. You know- Lamborghinis, Jets, etc.

However these aren't YOUR assets, your employer based in Panama owns them, pays appropriate taxes/registrations/etc, you just may be using them when on business for your employer in the US.

This is how those who actually make a lot of money and want to keep more of it play.

They don't insist on being an engineer for themselves, whine about low billables (BTW- if you're GOOD, at, well ANYTHING) "3 large corporations in Austin" cannot possibly drive down your hourly rates. Many web designers will build you some microsite for $200. You want one from me? It'll be $5,000+. Why? That's not what I do, and I'm very expensive.

This idiot just wasn't good and likely lived a life of mediocrity with visions of grandeur and blamed it all on laws that those who succeed beyond his wildest dreams play by, or as I outlined above legally and creatively bypass.

This whole "technically you don't have to pay taxes" bullshit that emo college kids burning their parents tuition and Lesko in his question mark suit love to rattle off about is bullshit.

The Nazi's were also just following orders sent from above. Fact is the federal government and even state governments are totally fucking out of control and they pissed this guy off enough and pushed him over the edge.

The IRS keeps sticking its dick in people and you should expect that every now and then someone is going to fight back.

This guy was a patriot, hes one of the only people who stand up against the fed.....he definitely made some mistakes in spreading the message and it was wrongful for him to hurt others, however what he did really should be eye opening to the general people.

The direction the country is leading in is going to just lead to the country being bankrupt within 1-2 more years......the government is spending TRILLIONS on this scam they call "global warming," and its just going to lead to extreme inflation.

In germany in the 1920s when the depression hit them, a .28 cent newspaper was inflated and valued at $28,000 in german currency. its happened before and the elites who are focused on bankrupting america are doing it through the federal reserve and their extreme dirty spending habits. We are going to get a tax on breathing pretty soon and its going to sneak up on us. a CO2 tax.......co2 we expel and is plant food, they claim its causing global warming lolz
