Hi all,

I have a campaign running on yahoo, 7 to 8 keyword per ad group.

Quality Index is 3 out of 5. CTR fluctuates between .55 to .70

How do i improve Quality Index? i am trying to test new ads initially they have higher CTR than next day come to earlier level.

any other possible approach?
 


i guess you already checked out what the other guys are doing,right?
you NEED to improve your ctr, no matter what. <1% is awful.

there's always a way to improve ctr. At this point you should be trying all kinds of stuff with keeping an eye on your conversion rate. Try controversial stuff,numbers in your headline,question marks etc.

no way .70 is the best you can do.

Hi AMFire,

Higher CLR is directly proportional to the amount of effort you do on word research. Unfortunately, the use of keyword tools are time consuming.

If you are really serious with PPC campaign, PM me and i'll direct you to an incredible and affordable tool that you can use for your keyword research.

It has something to do with Google Trends, let me know if i can help.

^^^^Advice: STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM GUYS LIKE THIS.

jerry, please shove your market samurai or whatever it is up your ass and let the guy work on his CTR in peace.
 
Make sure your keyword is in your ad title, ad copy and even the URL
Raise your bid to higher position, aim for position 3 to 5 in yahoo.

Those two advice alone is probably enough to get your CTR to at least 8% and a quality index 4 out of 5.
 
Okay,

i will raise bids slowly. If i bid too high i may loose money these are relatively higher volume low ROI keywords. Dynamically inserting keywords the title and if possible body.

What setting is better for CTR? advanced or standard

standard first, so you know what type of traffic you are getting, advanced is just like broad match in adwords, you need lots of negative keywords
 
Thanks. Have changed the settings. New ads went into editorial review, once approved will move forward.
