International peeps, how do you view US-targeted ads?

When a free US proxy doesnt work, ad server doesnt show any ads. Any real, fast & reliable tools out there?

In before "use the search button /google"

was that free US proxy you tried an anonymous one? I found that often times the free ones can be detected to be proxies and then the site I'm browsing displays as if I wasn't using any proxy at all. I'm using the US shared package from proxybonanza for this, and it works fine for me (they aren't detected as proxies).

Then again, what kind of ads are you trying to view? I'm a newb and "ad server" doesn't really ring a bell for me, sorry.

You can remote control a Windows server and surf the net from the location of your host. Your host should be able to hook you up. Of course, that only nails down one country but that is a start.

I've found us.worldproxy.tracking202.com to be quite useful most of the time as long as the landing page doesnt do any major proxy checks. I think they have different web proxy sites which have servers based in canada/uk also.

hidemyass or any other free proxy I find on google
offervault has this feature embedded, you set your country and if the offer is not available to you it routes you through a proxy

There's an easy setup for running your own free proxy through the Google App Engine. Hit up Lifehacker and type that in search, there's some examples there. You have some solid suggestions here so this is another alternative.

I think i need to bookmark this thread because I used shitty web proxies up to this point.
