I am selling this item to benefit multiple sclerosis, 90% of the auction shall go the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

It comes with receipt from a local NJ Best Buy and is covered by the full Canon warranty. Obviously being brand new the camera has 0 shutter actuations. The receipt makes this a much more attractive purchase than buying used or refurbished where you are likely getting a defective camera that you know nothing about. If anything goes wrong with the receipt you can go to Best Buy and they will fix it for you, this will save a lot of money down the road when it comes time to repair your SLR (This camera has a life of 100,000 actuations) and saves the hassle of mailing off the product to the manufacturer as Best Buy will do this for you. For your ease upon purchase and receival of this camera I will personally call and transfer the receipt into your name so it acts the same as if it was your receipt the entire time.

So even if 90% goes to charity, the guy still banking an extra 200-300 more than retail. Though personally it would have made more sense to sell a EOS 1D-IV (retail around 5 grands) as the people who can afford that camera can probably afford to donate twice that for charity, as opposed to paying 10 grands and getting a sub-1K camera for your efforts.
