How much should I bid on facebook CPC

Hi,

I am trying to setup a campaign on FB. It shows the FB calculated cost is 0.77 - 0.93$

I am not sure what amount to bid. Should I be paying 1$ per click?

Try the FB traffic estimate tool. Put in your estimated CPC bid and it will tell you how much traffic you should get based on the bid.

Nah $1 CPC is no good. $1 CPM is the way to go. Only amount where I actually make profit.

^^^ Good advice here. I normally go $8 max CPM but $10 is actually more than $8 so I would do that instead because it is more so I would do that, since it's more.

It depends on what product you sell, for a beginner try 1-2% of the price of your product.

It seem it doesn't matter what CPC you bid. If I bid $0.50 and get a really strong CTR my CPC costs will drop and average out to 10% of that. If my CTR sucks my ad will stop showing.

So CTR and CPM seems to be the only thing they care about.
