People who are interested in getting into this industry need to understand that it doesn't take a genius, or someone with an IQ more than 100 to make a lot of money. All you need is a computer and a basic understanding of how it all works.

Commit to working a few hours a day and set goals. It will pay off.

i'm so hesitant to launch my first campaign because i just have no idea if my product is too broad and if my webpage is good enough. via PPC, if i had good enough keywords would this site be able to make money?

Abreva for Cold Sores

or is it better for noobs to start off with rebills than actual products?

My advice -- give yourself time, work on your fucking chump job, and once you make a full time income, finger your boss in the ass with a carrot and travel 3 months in Asia (like I did :D -- although I never fingered my boss's asshole...)

LMFAOL Good one.

Its definitely possible to make more than $1000 a month after a few months of work building up some sites. I have quite a few affiliates that work with me that bring in over a $1 K a month and don't spend all that much on over head costs and marketing. The trick is to find a program that will provide you with good templates and popular products that will give you an advantage over others in your market.

My first three months in I made enough to pay rent ($600), my part of utilities, and that's it.

Now if I don't do that by the time I get back from my morning surf something's wrong with me.

But, it's been a long nearly six years.

Looking back on my stats I did 13k profit my first month in AM.

It's very much possible if you put the hard work in.

Conceive. Believe. Achieve.

If this is true, and you really did hit 13k your first month pure profit then my hats off to you thats awesome

The first few months are learning theory. And I say that because 95% of people will read 10000000's of blogs to see 'what works best', then they start doing shit and realize everything doesn't work (for everybody) and then they get an idea of how to get something to work for them. You'll find your process, and then that theory will begin to make sense on how you can apply it for your own business.

If you work 'hard' enough, you can be making thousands within a couple month.

Success is a function of failure in this game. And it'll take a lot of failure for some people to find success.

This is so fuckin true!!! i've read a lot of blogs to see what works best but ended always with losses..Then i started doing my own shit and learned the best way..

ps: sorry for my broken English

My first 3 months after I had set everything up and started promoting I made $756.46. (after expenses).

Having no idea to begin with it took me 4 months to learn enough to make money so in reality my first 3 months after deciding to 'make money online' I had made a grand total of -$230.

I agree with most of the sentiments here.

I started out with a simple goal, start one new site per week consistently, just find a niche and build, build again and do not stop, one of my major flaws in my early days was stopping to look around - keep fucking going, try new things; generally do not listen to people.

I now have nearly 300 sites currently active and with a decent system to manage them all it is piss easy, and can make you a lot of cash.

+1

The longer you leave them up and the more you tweak them, the better they do.

It absolutely is true but it has to be said that this was in the height of the rebill era when even my grandmother was making $500 a day slinging Berries and posting teh links on Google. :)

well my associate and myself knew what we were doing from previous work but in our first 3 months with this company we made nearly 25 thousand (combined) net.
