What do you rank in the world? (IN RICHES)

The trifecta of weath: Happiness. Money. Family.

If you are not wanting of the three, then you are wealthy.

i dont believe there are only 100k people in the world who make 1million a year or more in usd.

Still i bet the percentages are pretty close. 30k a year in the US gets you in the top 8%. 50k a year gets you in the top 1% and 100k a year gets you in the top 0.66%

edit: I'd be much more interested in tool that uses net worth instead of annual income.

Are you saying that 92 % of people make less than 30 K in US ?

Funny they are basing it on the annual income rather than assets owned.

I noticed that too. So if a guy banks 7 figures and retires to a beach on 2% interest from his checking account, he is "poorer" then the guy working 60 hour weeks to pull in a low-6-figure salary. They need a column for "Wealth already achieved"

= 786,570
You are the 786,570 richest person in the world! You're in the TOP 0.01%
richest people in the world!

Hm. Having just looked at the paperwork that came in the kindergarten packet for next year, an income of $47k in a family of four qualifies for free and reduced lunch. If $32k is wealthier than 92% of the world, there is a big problem with this site.

For the record, I only noticed the amount of $47k on the form as I was flipping by because I was in shock - that's how much a teacher with a Master's degree and eight years of experience is paid in a "premier" district. All I have to do is make the hubby stay home with the kids and lose all that lovely writing income and my kindergartner would qualify for free (or maybe it's reduced) lunch! I wonder if that means I would get a reduced yummy lunch from the cafeteria, too.

Actually, nope. You would wonder how low wages / income is all over the world.

This tool just includes all the starving people in Africa, the Hungry in China, the homeless in America and the poor in the slums all over the world.

Ya know, the people who'd look at you and think you are rich.

Id have to agree on your first statement. I hear from a few sources that 100k millionaires leave the US/UK/CA combined every year to offshore banking.

I pulled this from some places online from census, wikipedia, etc:

Avg median US household income: 53k

Income Percentage to others in US:
$355,000 1%
130,600 5
93,800 10
60,800 25
33,400 50
