I know the subid for CJ is this format:

http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-2539644-10432491?sid=

I asked the CJ help where the affiliate ID is and they said this:

The url that you are requesting can be found by going to the Get Links -> By Relationship tab and then selecting View Links. This will give you a list of all of the advertisers banners and text links. Next you are going to select Get HTML and from this window scroll down to the code at the bottom. The only portion of the code that is necessary, in order to track your commissions, is what appears in quotations on the first line of code.

For example, if the code appears as such:

<a href="http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx" target="_top" >
<img src="http://www.tqlkg.com/image-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx" width="150" height="50" alt="" border="0"></a>

The portion of the code that should be placed in the URL Destination is:

http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx

My question is: does it matter which link I get the URL from? the xxxxxxx-xxxxxx part changes with every link.

Also, it tells me to add the payout amount, but CJ only gives a %. Do I just calculate the % of the product and put that number down?

Use the first link, as they mention.

The 2nd link is an image they include to track impressions. It's not mandatory.

Re: % - This is because the offer you are promoting is cost per sale (vs. cost per action). Your commission dollars will depend on the sales amount. If you are using Prosper, you can adjust for this when uploading your subids.

i understand that part. but does it matter which banner or link that i get the code from, or will anyone work? the reason i ask is because the code changes from banner to banner.
