Some moron placed bids on 6 domains and as a result, the 6 auctions in question got extended (~5 minutes left). It's the same idiot who tried to cause problems right from the beginning but we're not exactly noobs and are monitoring the activity of Auctionpus.com 24/7 (literally). His/her ass is banned and all of the bids have been removed.

I don't fucking understand what his or her agenda is but I have my ways of finding out.

have you thought of putting an auto refresh timer on the main page?

The thing is, the site would probably be laggy whenever there's a lot of activity and we'd rather play it safe :)

The 8 auctions I've referred to previously have ended, here are the auctions which started a few moments ago (all of them will end tomorrow at 2 PM EST):

SatireEssays.com

The economy is going down the drain, this much is certain, so what can we do? Yep, that's right, we can make fun of the folks we elected! Will this help things get back on track? No but at least you'll be able to make enough money to build a bunker and buy LOTS of canned goods by flooding Digg.com and other social voting website with funny content!

TimeCalculation.com

There's a lot of demand (1,300 exact match global monthly searches and 60,500 broad global monthly searches) for time calculation tools. All it takes is one simple script (people will want to calculate things such as the duration between two dates, nothing fancy) and you're good to go! TimeCalculation.com has a minimum bid and a reserve of $145.

BabysittingAds.com

Parents are getting busier, nobody can deny this and it should come as no surprise that the babysitting business is booming! BabysittingAds.com represents the best possible domain for a website which has displaying babysitting classified ads as its business model. There's a lot of money on the table, what are you waiting for?

I don't understand the 5k reserve for drapes.net when phobias.net went for the 500ish range.

phobias far > drapes

I'm guessing you're getting some listed domains now?

Drapes.net isn't mine but it's a better domain than Phobias.net IMO:

  • 135,000 exact match global monthly searches for the term "drapes" vs. 74,000 exact match global monthly searches for the term "phobias"
  • 2,240,000 broad global monthly searches for the term "drapes" vs. 368,000 broad global monthly searches for the term "phobias"
  • an estimated average CPC of $1.29 for the term "drapes" vs. an estimated average CPC of $0.75 for the term "phobias"

This is pretty interesting. Just asking charlie but how much are you making off your own site? Net profits after advertising and hosting costs. I would think other then advert it wouldnt cost that much to keep this site up.

Are you working solo or is this a team/company effort?

I love the concept man and wish you well, but if I could interject a bit:

I know it's a new site but if you expect people to list top notch domains on your site, you're going to need a lot more traffic/exposure so that $,$$$ domains don't end up going for $$-$$$.

Other than that I really like the site's layout and will be sure to bid on a few domains in the future.

Heck, ima try out his service, seems very promising for some good domains I have
Is there an area where we can list our description of the domain AKA our pitch?
