Brought LFE a few weeks ago and must say it's pretty awesome!

Only problem is the lack of a scheduler. If you need to do 20, 30 or more rounds of blog posting, you need to sit thight and click/copy-paste every few minutes :(

Have anyone done something this, for example by using some kind of website automation?
 


phixx, you can use UBot or something similar to do some of the automation, although this is not nearly as effective as a built-in scheduler would be. This is one of the most commonly requested features for LFE and I believe that it's on the list for the next major release. Unfortunately, I believe this will be a paid upgrade.
 
Hey guerilla, you made a great point there earlier about the difference between blog posts and articles. I started out using LFE with articles mostly because I thought it was a good shortcut. I was using the same articles I had already outsourced and created spun versions of them. But I wasn't seeing a good indexing rate so I shifted gears and doing something similar to what you've described: short blog posts with some pictures. Too early to see results but I'm hoping it helps.
 
I came across LFE on a different, more shady, site, and my interest was piqued. I have been spending a few days researching it for some whitehat SEO for clients, and maybe some more gray stuff for niche mini sites.

Your support and base seems amazing, Guerilla, so when I buy I'll be sure to purchase through your link - I'm generally a DIYer and prefer research to just begging to get spoonfed by others, but I'm sure I'll have some questions that could benefit from someone with more experience.

I do have a couple of (hopefully easy) questions. I also haven't finished reading your blog post so if it's covered you can just bitch me out and I'll go finish that.

1 - If you were going to use LFE to backlink niche sites, would you create multiple blogs for each site? (Actually that sounds more like a SEO question - what I mean is does LFE support creating multiple blogs some on hosts that overlap, and easily knowing you can post, say vacation blog posts, to these blogs, and termite blog posts to these blogs, even if they share hosts in some cases?)
2 - I'm ignorant on a lot of these things, but if you "Spin" an article - does it randomly pick which spin it uses each time, or does it rotate through them? If you're looking to post 100 blog posts, would it be good to try to create something that would generate 10-20 combinations, etc.?
3 - It looks like LFE has been out at least a year and appears stable with consistent updates. Do they update the WPMU sites as they go away and new ones are discovered?

It might be possible to script this in UBot, since UBot is one of the better automation tools for handling ajax, which is heavily used in the LFE UI. But I'm not sure the cost and time to set it up is worthwhile, unless it is something fairly straightforward that you will repeat many times in succession.

Also, many automation tools (not all) are IE based, so that can also lead to problems because LFE does not officially support IE.

I hope it works out too. I know a lot of guys have had good success with shorter posts. It certainly is less time consuming.

I believe it is random. If you do word level spins, it should be easy to randomize a paragraph into many possible permutations.

The WPMU pool does get refreshed, but the pool itself is not as robust as it once was. We are waiting for an update, hopefully to accommodate the changes coming with WP3.0 which should add more targets. That said, we have been waiting for some time, and although I am asked frequently, I do not have any information about a specific release timeline, or build progress.

Guerilla is certainly one of the best guy of this forum ... highly professional and down to earth.

Lalit, you're probably right, I wrote it late last night. My post is on the 7th page of this thread, if someone is this deep into the thread, they're probably on the fence and haven't made up their mind. They're reading everything they can get their hands on.

Although I think people will read my whole post just like you did, for the lazy few who won't read my complete post, I change it here.
 
Last question - if I buy LFE, and then they come out with the next big version upgrade and charge $500 for the upgrade or whatever (just hypothetical), will the version I purchase still be supported even if I don't buy the upgrade?

I know you're not actually one that can answer that - but my basic question is what's the feel for long term support?

The upgrade price increase will be nominal. I think less than $100.

I assume the older version will be supported for some time, but I really can't say for sure. If you write to support@linkfarmevolution.com you may receive a better answer than I can provide.

My feel in general is, if you buy a tool, use it. Don't wait 6 months to install it because things are changing pretty fast on the web, and while licenses are lifetime, support is not. There are very few programs people bought 3 years ago that are still supported today without upgrade/maintenance fees.

Do anyone know if there is a upgrade just around the corner?

I'm thinking about buying LFE, but if the upgrade is next week I can wait.

To the best of my knowledge (and I will probably have the best info anyone does), there is not an update "around the corner", and I do not expect to see one in at least the next 6 weeks.

I want to install ist on a VPS Server with a Unique IP.
1024MB RAM
and a Good CPU

Do i need a Proxy List for LFE?
Is the IonCube Loader enough to run LFE on a Ubuntu Machine with PHP 5 and MySQL?

Are someone have experience with Wordpress 3.0 with LFE?

WP 3.0 will be supported (I think) in the next minor update which should be coming soon. WP 3.0 has only been in the wild for like a week, so it's going to take a little time for the tool to catch up, because there have been changes.
