It looks pretty awesome but aside from the obvious graphics improvements I don't really see much advancement from Civ4 at all I hope they managed to piece some sort of campaign mode together that isn't pointless this time though.

FreeCiv is still too awesome for me to waste time learning a new version of the same game...

Civ4 is awesome... can't wait for Civ5.

When its released we should setup an online WF free for all game.

Civ 4 is great.

But I stopped playing it as much when I realized that harder play styles basically just cheat instead of using better strategy. They just decrease built-times for troops, buildings, etc, as you increase difficulty. I hated playing knowing that. I hope Civ5 uses better strategys as you increase difficulty instead.

I can almost guarantee they'll do the same thing. They just don't have the resources to program an AI who can legitimately challenge really good players in civ.
