I Kid.. I Kid...

Just Wanted to know if Google is broken... with all the links they have to track and filter to calculate their rankings.

"Buy Viagra" Serp was owned by Russian Spammers for a long long time.
The top rankers there used to be profile pages with millions of backlinks (enterprise grade xrummer?), and Google could not fight it.

I checked today just for old time sake and see what I saw.

Looks like they removed all the legitimate pages as well when cleaning up the junk.

I mean what is Mustang Survival Corporation doing there?
Florida International University?
And the Valley Forge Christian College????
--- 1.2 Million Monthly searches for Viagra going to those sites... lolol

So Is Google Broken?
Or are those spammers upto something??

Well if I had to guess, I'd say those were sites that once upon a time got hit with a massive flood of forum spam, and google indexed it.

This. These spammers build thousands of forum profiles on these corporate and education sites and create tons of backlinks. It's a fucking mess.

Normally because they lack moderation and are typically pretty open registration. Once had a church site built, I encouraged moderation but course no one wanted to take the time so they left it open... bout 2 weeks later, 8,000 spam posts, from over 500 random spam accounts. When their forum only had like 20 posts to begin with. And course they didn't even notice until 2 months later when someone from the congregation actually bothered to check their forum. Oh the horrors they saw (well in their opinion anyways).
 
Weird. Seeing completely different results in Canada. Strage that G geo-targets such a generic term. Or maybe it shows Canadian pharma only?

That site was actually hacked as far as I remember. It hosted 1000s of scraper pages that redirected to the money site.
