Tracking Conversions Question

We are working with a pretty small company. Their affiliate program is a little out of date and my AM said there basically is no way they will put code on their site to help out with conversion tracking for P202, etc.

If this company is one of the only options in this niche, what would be the BEST way to attempt to track conversions? My only thought was seeing who clicks through my site to their site as maybe a "best guess" as to what ads/keywords are performing the best.

Maybe you should rephrase your request with your AM and say you want to place a tracking pixel (not necessarily a lot of code) on his confirmation page so you can track traffic for him. Or get him to pay you to integrate a out of the box affiliate management system. Or simply move on to someone that does have their systems setup properly.

You don't need a tracking pixel. You can just copy/paste the subids that convert into sales, into your 202 interface.

Pixels and code can be a good way to track conversions, but a good affiliate program will have all of the necessary statistics and tools in their back end system that will allow you to judge if your campaign is working.
